She is expected to mature 29-30”. Lady was born while I was away on an all-day field trip to Washington, D. C. with my middle school students. It seemed appropriate to have this filly’s name reflect the timing of her birth. So, she is named after the beautiful statue atop our nation’s capitol, “Lady Freedom.” This is what is said of the statue, Lady Freedom: “Her strength and beauty are a source of inspiration to people worldwide. She is a reminder of the importance of women’s contributions to American society. Look up to her!” Our little Lady is strong and beautiful and is an inspiration to us. We look up to her as an example of what our farm produces.
